Kulkarni on New Wall TV Ad: ‘Once Again Following Her Party Leaders’ Playbook’

Sugar Land, TX — Today, Sri Preston Kulkarni, Democratic nominee in Texas’ 22nd Congressional District, issued the following statement in response to Kathaleen Wall’s most recent campaign ad about China. You can view her ad here.

From Sri Preston Kulkarni: “Small businesses in TX-22 are still struggling to get by while politicians in Washington direct millions of taxpayer dollars towards their campaign donors. Kathaleen Wall doesn’t want to talk about any of that, which is why she’s once again following GOP leaders’ playbook and trying to distract the constituents of TX-22 from Washington Republicans’ unprepared response to the coronavirus crisis.”

Sri Preston Kulkarni is the son of an Indian immigrant father and a mother whose family descends from Sam Houston. Kulkarni is a former Foreign Service Officer who served fourteen years overseas in places like Iraq, Russia, and Jerusalem, and as a former Defense, Foreign Policy and Veteran Affairs Advisor to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) before deciding to leave the foreign service and return home to run for Congress in 2018.
